When booking Rome Trastevere Home you need to know the following:
1) Rome Trastevere Home is a brand owned by Rome Trastevere Home Ltd – Vicolo del Bologna 31/a, 00153 Roma; P.IVA IT13452831004; N. iscrizione CCIA RM1448303. When we mention “Rome Trastevere Home” we are referring to the Company Rome Trastevere Home.
2)Booking
Guests can book apartment with immediately booking.
Otherwise guests can reserve an apartment by sending an email to info@rometrasteverehome.com and specifying the dates of arrival and departure and the number of guests. Once we receive confirmation of booking, guests are asked to leave their bank details to secure your booking. The guest is required a prepayment.
3)Payment preferences
Rome Trastevere Home accepts the following means of payment: online payment with stripe system with all credit cards.
4)Cancellation policy
Standard Cancellation policy. Reservations may be canceled up to fourteen days before arrival, without the payment of any penalty. For example: if the check-in is scheduled for Saturday, you can cancel your reservation up to the two Saturday before. If a claim is made by the guest, this must be forwarded to Rome Trastevere Home within 24 hours of check-in. The reservation is officially canceled when the customer sends the cancellation by mail at info@rometrasteverehome.com. If the client cancels the reservation less than 14 days in advance, the guest will pay the whole amount of the reservation. If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights spent 24 hours after the first night will be not refunded.

5)Change
In case the customer decides to change the dates or apartment, it is considered as a new booking and will be subject to the standard cancellation procedures. If Rome Trastevere Home is not able to provide the customer with the original property booked, the customer will be informed and will be offered a new property similar or better, with price changes.
6)Prices
Accommodation prices are subject to change than reported on the website. These changes will be communicated before reservation. Prices are inclusive of final cleaning with VAT. Daily prices are per night for accommodation. Weekly prices are for accommodation for seven nights. Monthly prices are available on request.
7)Check-in, Check-out
The check-in is possible from 4.00 pm the day of arrival. For arrivals after 10.00 pm there is a surcharge of 20 euros. For arrivals after midnight there is a charge of 50 Euros. The release of the house must be made no later than 11:00 am.

8)Arrival and departure
The guest is required to communicate the arrival time and to confirm it by email at least one day before arrival. It is also required to keep the owner informed of any delays or changes. The owner or an owner’s delegate will meet you at the apartment at the arrival time agreed or where it’s possibile you can effectuate self check-in. On arrival you will be explained the operation of all the equipment (air conditioning, Internet, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) and of recycling. We will give you the keys. On request it can be delivered to our guests a second set of keys. During check-in you will sign a short term rental contract, also signed by the administrator or his delegate. In case of self chem-in owner will send you all necessary information with instructions the day before your arrival.
On departure day you must leave the apartment in good conditions and the garbage disposed properly. The guest must leave the keys (or set of keys) on the table and will have to worry about turn off the light, water, air conditioning and other domestic appliances, properly close the door of the apartment and of the building.
9) Tourist Tax
Starting from 1 January 2011, Law no. 122/2010 introduced a new fee (called “Tourism Tax”) charged on non-resident individuals staying in hotels, B&B and similar accommodation located in the territory of the Municipality of Rome; the amount of the fee is equal to Euro 3,50 per person per day of stay (for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights), except for children under 10 years old, for whom the fee is not due. This tax has to be paid cash upon arrival. For the payment of the tax, the owner or his delegate is obliged to request a copy of the identity documents of the guests.
10)Guests
The client will inform Rome Trastevere Home on the number and identity of the persons included in the reservation. Unless otherwise agreed, only the number of persons indicated by the client when booking shall be authorized to use the property. Pets are allowed only if permission has been specifically granted by the property at time of booking.
11)Bail
Upon arrival guests are asked for a deposit to be considered for accommodation refundable upon departure to ensure financial coverage for any damage caused to the apartment or its furnishings/ accessories. The conditions for the deposit will be communicated when booking. In case of damage, the guest will be obliged to pay the amount of the damage in the figure given by the owner, while the deposit is intended only as a security deposit. All deposits will be refunded to the same credit card with which the reservation is made upon departure from the apartment and after inspection of the damage.
12)Behavior & Penalties
The guest, upon signing the contract during check-in, is committed to behaving responsibly and properly. In case of violation of the obligations mentioned above, Rome Trastevere Home at its sole discretion shall have the right to ask the client to leave the property, and the customer will have no right to claim any type of compensation. Guests are invited to take in the course of living appropriate conduct and respectful of the house that is in the neighborhood, avoid listening to loud music or making noise that may cause nuisance to the neighborhood. In the event that the guest behave in any manner detrimental to the neighborhood or housing, can be immediately asked to leave the apartment regardless of the time of day or night. In this case the customer will not be entitled to any refund, including the damage deposit. Rome Trastevere Home shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to the apartment as a result of the use by the customer. This includes damages, insurance, losses due to fire, thef and misconduct.
13)Purpose of the Service
These terms and conditions, their contents, structure and the online booking service provided herein and through the website (the “service”) are owned, managed and offered by Rome Trastevere Home are provided for your exclusive use with non-commercial purposes, according to the terms and conditions herein. Even though we provide our service with diligence and attention, we can not be deemed liable for any error (including manifest errors and typos), interruption of the service (deriving from damages – temporary and/or partial – reparation, upgrade or maintenance of our website or any other similar circumstance), for imprecise, misleading or false information, or for the default in their delivery. Our services are available for personal use only and not for commercial use. Therefore, you are not allowed to re-sell, use, copy, insert, deep-link, monitor (using, for example, spider, scrape), visualize, download or reproduce any content, information, software, product or service available on our website for any kind of activity having commercial purposes.
14)E-mails
By making a reservation you agree to receive (i) one or more emails before the date of your arrival at the accomodation, giving confirmation of the booking and possible information on your destination and various suggestions and offers (also by third parties, should you have agreed) concerning your booking and destination, and (ii) an email after your stay, with the invitation to give your feedback on the structure, (iii), our newsletter, from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
15)Exclusion of Liability
Neither us nor any of our shareholders, managers, employees, representatives may be deemed liable towards you or any of your affiliates or related persons only for direct and immediate damages suffered or paid as a direct consequence of our breach to comply with our obligations with regard to the services that we should have provided to you. Without prejudice to the above, in any case neither us or any of our shareholders, managers, employees, representatives, advisors, appointed persons, branches, affiliates, affiliated (distribution) partners, licensees, agents or persons involved in the creation, sponsorship, promotion or diffusion of the website and the contents provided therein may be deemed responsible for: (i) losses or punitive, special, indirect or consequential damages, loss of production, loss of profit, loss of income, loss of contract, for damages to the reputation and the name or for the loss of rights, (ii) the inadequacy of the (descriptive) information of the services made available on our website, (iii) for the services or products supplied through our website, (iv) for damages (direct, indirect, consequential or punitive), losses or costs incurred and paid as a result of the inability to use our website or a delay of our website, but however connected or related to its use, or (v) personal damages, damages to properties or costs incurred and paid for lawsuits and other legal or extrajudicial proceedings, claims, errors, infringements, (gross) negligence, willful maladministration, omissions, misrepresentations, civil liability, tort or liability without-fault for a tort attributable (in whole or in part) to an external agency that you have used to book any of our services. In no case is Rome Trastevere Home deemed liable for damages, losses or thefts affecting any of the guest(s)’ personal belongings located in the accommodations during his/her stay.
16)Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Rome Trastevere Home Logo, the website www.rometrasteverehome.com and all the contents, information and materials on our website, as well as the copyright related to them, are exclusive ownership of and can not be reproduced, either in whole or in part, transferred (whether with electronic or conventional means), amended, linked or otherwise used for any purpose without the prior written consent of Rome Trastevere Home.
17)Possible Failure of Technical Services
It is possible that the Internet service and the TV service in your Suite is unavailable during your stay due to technical problems which may occur and are out of the control of the property owner and/or Rome Trastevere Home. It is also possible that the Internet service provided is not compatible with your own computer’s operating system or configuration. In all the cases above, Rome Trastevere Home does not take responsibility for any losses or expenditures due to technical failure.
18)Miscellanea
These terms and conditions, as well as the supply of our services, is regulated by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Italy; any dispute that may derive out of or in connection with these terms and conditions and our services shall be settled by the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, with the exceptions of mandatory provisions of law concerning the client’s Court. The English version of these Terms and Conditions is merely a courtesy translation of the original Italian version posted on the Italian page of our website. The English version is informal and has a mere explanatory purpose: therefore, in case of any contradiction or discrepancy between the Italian version of these Terms and Conditions and its English translation (or other languages), the Italian version will prevail and will be considered as the only legally binding version. Should any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions not be valid, loose validity or be/become non-binding, you will continue to comply with all the other provisions set forth herein. In this case, we will replace the above mentioned clause(s) with a valid and binding clause having an effect as similar as possible to the clause(s) being replaced, that you undertake to accept in compliance with the contents and the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
19)Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions provided for herein – and any subsequent amendment – apply to all our services available online, directly or indirectly (i.e., through agencies), on any mobile device, via email or telephone. By accessing our website, visiting it, and/or using any of the applications provided through whatsoever platform (hereafter referred to as “website”), and/or by booking, you declare of having read, understood and accepted (also for purposes of articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code) all the terms and conditions herein (including the privacy provisions).
